How should I care for my Godavari Diamond and jewellery?

To enjoy and keep the beauty of your piece, we recommend you observe the following instructions.

  1. Store your diamond or jewellery in its original box to ensure it does not get damaged or damage other jewellery.
  2. For diamonds set in jewellery it is recommended you have the setting of stone checked regularly, at least annually. You should also consult a professional jeweller who can determine if your jewellery needs repair, such as checking for  worn or damaged claws and checking is the diamond is secure.
  3. Regularly clean your diamond jewellery by soaking it in a gentle degreasing solution, such as water with a few drops of mild dish soap. After you remove the diamond from the cleaning solution, use a soft, clean toothbrush to remove any remaining dirt. The toothbrush should be new and reserved exclusively for cleaning your jewellery. Be gentle with the brush and use it to clean hard-to-reach places like the back of the diamond, which tends to collect the most oil and dirt. Then, simply rinse your diamond jewellery with water and dry with a soft, lint-free cloth. If you’re working over a sink, make sure to close the drain.
